Your Coach

Founder of Quietly Powerful

Megumi Miki

Megumi is an author, speaker and consultant in leadership and culture, with a background in strategy, economics and finance. As a quiet achiever, Megumi has often found it challenging to be recognised and lead effectively while being her authentic self. Through 20 years of personal development, studying Quietly Powerful leaders and coaching others she found a way to use her quiet nature as her unique strength. Through her book - Quietly Powerful: How your quiet nature is your hidden leadership strength, which was awarded the Best Leadership Book 2020 by the Australian Business Book Awards and Australian Career Book of 2020 by RSA Oceania - keynote presentations, 1-1 and group coaching programs, Megumi has reached thousands of people globally and helped many of them to develop a quietly confident presence to be heard, lead authentically and have impact. In the uncertain, changing, global and inter-connected world, Megumi believes that the ‘alpha’ or ‘hero’ leadership style alone is outdated and inadequate. Quietly Powerful expands the definition of what good leadership looks, sounds and feels like and empowers quieter professionals and those outside majority groups to fulfill their leadership potential.

Participant Experiences

What QP Program Participants Have Said

"I have had a change in my mindset from being a support person to being a leader. I told my manager about wanting to advance my career, he said, ‘why didn’t you ask earlier?’ And I have been promoted since.” Yuko, Global Partnerships Advisor

“I learned a lot about myself, stronger and more capable than I might have thought before. When I’m in groups I’m more relaxed about not speaking up. I listen and learn from those with knowledge. Because I’m relaxed I can speak up.” Hil Mei, Senior Project Manager

“I've learned to value my strengths and display more self-confidence. I have greater insight into my natural traits and how I can turn what others may perceive as weaknesses into differentiators.” Lorraine, Program Delivery Manager

“What I saw as impossible before – I can see it as possible, even for a quieter professional.” Helen, Senior Business and Finance Specialist

“My confidence has really grown. I am much more willing to give things a go, voice my views and ask questions.” Jennifer, Director at a Professional Services Firm

“I found clarity, renewed energy around my strengths, my passions, my values and mission. It has encouraged me to bring all of me to work.” Carmen, Senior Music Therapist

100% Money Back Guarantee

  • If you did the work and felt you didn't get value from the program, we will refund the entire amount.

  • How much time is needed to do the program?

As this is a self-paced online program, you can spend more time and go through it quickly or spend less time and go through it more slowly. You can choose your own pace and how deeply you want to go into each topic. Some topics may be more useful so you might spend more time on it. There are 12 lessons with 40 videos which are between 3 to 15 minutes per video in the core program. There are also additional resources and videos. In addition, you are encouraged to experiment with the concepts in the real world, as that’s where you will see tangible impacts, progress and results. How much time you spend and how long it takes also depends on how much and how quickly you want to achieve these impacts and results.

  • How much time do I have to complete the program?

You have access to the program content for 3 years so you have plenty of time to go through the content, apply and practice what you learn and revisit the content.

  • Do I have to be a naturally quiet person to do the program?

No. At least 1/3 to a 1/4 of participants of Quietly Powerful program have been extroverts and quite social in nature. They still felt quietly disempowered because they were agreeable in nature, got overly anxious in groups or with senior people, felt like they were an outsider or minority, had their self-doubt or worry about what others think hold them back etc. If you want to build that inner strength to be an authentic leader, you will find useful concepts in the program.

  • What are the fees?

The value of all the resources in the program is in excess of AU$4,000, but the goal was to make it accessible to more people so the program fee is AU$995.

  • Is there a payment plan?

Yes, we can offer a payment plan. Please contact us to set it up.

  • In which countries is the program available?

The program should be available as long as you have internet access. Please let us know if you have any access issues.

  • What support do I get if I don’t understand a concept or how to apply them?

There are 6 monthly live virtual group Q&A / coaching sessions included in the program, where you can ask questions and get coached on how to apply them. We will ask you to email questions or topics to be coached on before each session and will start by addressing ones that more people are interested in and work through the list.

  • When are the live Q&A and coaching sessions?

You will have access to 6 monthly Q&A / coaching sessions from the time you start. They are usually around the 20th-22nd of each month. The times vary to ensure that people in different time zones can join live in at least some of the sessions. You will receive six calendar zoom invitations once you have registered for the program. These live sessions are not recorded to allow for open conversations.
